Doubt !

My kidney transplant was 3 years ago. However, I now have high protein urea, and there is foam in my urine. Nevertheless, my creatine, potassium, and sodium levels are fine. The doctor recommended a biopsy. Has anyone had a situation like this? Does anyone know the reason?

For many years, I had some protein ( trace, or +) in my urine. High protein level in urine may indicates infection or from some other reasons. Biopsy is a procedure with a very tiny needle to get tissues from the kidney, with a partial anesthesia under the ultrasound assistance, less than 30 min. I had one before.

Hi! Is this part of your original disease perhaps? I hope not - and I hope it gets solved quickly!! Congrats to 3 years! I am 2.5!
