U.S. Patients: Reminder to Change Your Clocks (& Med Times) This Weekend
October 28, 2025
in General
As a reminder, clocks will change this weekend! On Sunday, November 2nd at 2 a.m. local time, clocks will "fall back" one hour to end Daylight Saving Time. You will gain an hour of sleep and time will jump from 1:59 a.m. back to 1:00 a.m. With that said, if you take medicines every 12 or 24 hours be mindful of current alarms times you have set and adjust accordingly!

Adjusting tacro is so much easier than my pre transplant meds! Pre transplant I was taking meds every 3 hours, 24/7 (so waking up in the middle of the night) and they were on such a strict schedule I couldn’t just swap times. I ended up keeping clocks as they were until morning when I was more alert, and then moving things in 10 minute intervals until I was back to my regular time. Yes I was late (or early) for a lot of things, and it was miserable.
I’m only 24 hour meds now so I adjust over 2 days, with half an hour each day. So much nicer! Thanks for the reminder!
